Awakened in Faith
Awakened in Faith is the realization we achieve when we put our full faith in God and His plans for us. When we realize there is nothing that can stand against us when we believe that God is for us. All we have to do is ask and have faith. We bring our troubles to God and have faith that He will provide in His time.
You must take the action of true faith to be awakened in the purpose God has for your life. When you begin to have an open and honest relationship with God you begin to hear him talking to you. Not in a burning bush way, but through His servents of faith that are called to say what you need to hear. Don’t dismiss those as coincidence, realize that is God talking to you. The greatness of God would be diminished if He spoke to you as a booming voice from above. A true show of power is when He sets in motion events at the beginning of time so that certain people enter your life at the right moment inspired by their own walk of faith to say what you need to hear at that particular moment.
When you become Awakened in Faith you see the world differently. No longer are you walking through it alone. You have God there every step of the way answering you back as long as you are willing to hear Him.
We become Awakened in Faith by our actions. Faith is meaningless without the works that proove it. Do you say you have faith, or do you show you have faith. It is easy to say you have faith in God, but that is just words until you truely put your life in His hands and have unwaivering faith that no matter what happens is as it is intended to be and that God will provide for you.
Don’t deny God by your works. Be a doer of the word. Speaking the word has power, but you must follow through with action for that power filled word to go out into the world and manifest the promises given to you by God.
The Ministry
The Awakened in Action Ministry was started to reach out to those disallusioned by organzied religion, those that feel lost or alone, those that find it hard to understand how the word of God applies in modern life.
We are here to show people a relationship with God doesn’t have to occur in a Church. In fact, quite the opposite, our walk with God is an individualized journey that each of us develops in our own way.
This ministry is not meant to tell you what to believe or how to believe.
This ministry is meant to be a support mechanism for those on that personal walk to find their relationship with God. We are here to provide testimony to the works and miracles God has performed in our lives.
We are here to tell you that it is ok to take your problems to God, to talk to him directly. In fact, that is what He is waiting for.
We are here to tell you it is ok if you have not lived a holy life, God still loves you, He never stopped loving you.
We are here to tell you that there is no wrong way to establish your relationship with God. You don’t have to be all prim and proper. You don’t have to be somewhere specific or dressed a certain way or only talk to Him if you have been sin free for a few hours. God knows it all, He is not worried about any of that as long as your come to him in Love and Faith.
Stop worrying about the how and just start doing. Say “Hey dude what’s up”, or look up to him after someone tell’s an inapropriate joke and say “come on, that was funny”. Whatever it takes to begin that relationship, the rest will just happen naturally.
Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one God who always has been and always will be that is the Grand Architect of all things that exist.
We believe that God Loves all of His children and that what He wants most of us is to seek Him, to bring our troubles to Him, and to have faith in Him.
We believe that God is ever present in our lives, walking with us through everything we do, and carrying us when we cannot go on any more.
We believe that God does not require us to be in a particular place, in a particular position, in particualr clothes, saying the words of others to have a relationship with Him and that instead He just wants us to come to Him as we are, no matter how broken that may be, and trust that He will protect us and provide for us.
We believe that God IS the Light, both figuratively and literally.
We believe that with God, all things are possible.

- More life coach than preaching religion, someone to help guide people along their path in life, but not using hell or damnation as the reason to listen to me but instead focusing on the individual and what they need to live a good and prosperous life with the hope that by doing so they will reach a point of enlightenment that will allow them to connect with a higher power…whatever that is for them
- The power of 1. What is the one thing that matters to you most, who is the one person you love the most, what is your 1 greatest goal. Focus in on the one, because after you accomplish that 1, you can move on to another 1. But it also is that you do not have to effect a change on millions, only a change on 1, because if we all did that living a better life and doing for others becomes much simpler. Can you help all the homeless, or can you at least help the 1 that you pass in the morning. Can you save every life, or can you at least help that friend out that might be thinking about suicide. Focus on the 1, help the 1, be the power of 1.
- Take action for your faith, go out in the world and live it through your actions and not by going somewhere every week and reciting the same words that you have said your whole life. Don’t read the gospel…be the gospel. Bring others to faith by good acts not looking good.
